You can likely recover your desktop by right clicking, going to properties, previous versions, and loading a shadow copy. Reddit is not the best way to contact me. So, since you selected Desktop as the new world location, and a new directory isn't made, the UME deleted the desktop thinking it was the old world. After editing, the original world is then deleted and the copy is pasted. Since editing a bedrock edition world requires the entire world database be loaded, a copy of the world is first made in Documents. It will not create a new directory automatically. When you selected to save the world to your desktop, it tried to save all the world files to your desktop. Otherwise the UME generates all the world files in that directory. When you save a bedrock edition world that is supposed to be contained within a folder, you must create that folder. No support requests was ever sent to me about this from op or anyone.
